Mari Anne Vanella
Founder | CEO
Mari Anne Vanella has over 20 years of Sales and Business Management experience including 15 years as Founder/CEO of Sales Development Firms in the Silicon Valley. Her organizations have consistently delivered long-term successful sales development programs to high tech and services industries across the United States. Mari Anne's background includes successful performance as Vice President and Director at companies such as The EC Company (now ADX), PictureTalk, a subsidiary of Drake International (one of the world's largest IT solution and staffing firms), Global Knowledge, a $500 Million IT Training and consulting firm, and most recently at Skyline Computer Corporation, where she led the Cisco Training Products organization to a #5 position in the country within one year. Prior to these she founded Procom, a sales development firm based in the Silicon Valley serving customers such as State Farm Insurance, Waddell & Reed, AmeriPro, and many others. Her knowledge of technology and the entire sales operation process gives her the insight and ability to engineer programs that are both results based and cost effective. Her executive leadership roles in national sales organizations with field reps, sales engineers and customer service teams contribute to in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience which results in a solution that has unmatched results. Her industry affiliations include being a Founding Member of Women In Technology International's (WITI) Global Executive Network, The Direct Marketing Association (DMA) of Northern California, Sales & Marketing Executives International (SMEI), The American Marketing Association, the Silicon Valley AMA, SVASE (Silicon Valley Association of Startup Entrepreneurs), Women in Consulting, and the National Association of Female Executives. Recently she has authored the award-winning book "42 Rules of Cold Calling Executives" which is available on Amazon.com and other retail channels. Mari Anne's graduate studies in Business Management were through the Edinburgh School of Business, Heriot-Watt University.

Mitch WIlliams
SVP Sales and Business Development
Mitch WIlliams joins The Vanella Group, Inc. with over 20 years of success in enterprise technology sales. Formerly the Vice President of Sales for CTP (Octel,) ATG, Valdero, Pacific Edge Software,and Kadiri, Mitch brings the expertise of managing to aggressive growth objectives while understanding the landscape of sales and marketing organizations in technology domains. Within 8.5 years he grew revenue at Octel from $50M to $650M. Mitch has numerous industry acknowledgements for his ability to build and manage a successful sales organization for long term growth and sustainability.
Mitch has a BA from Columbia University and an MBA from University of Phoenix
Vicki Cauvel
VP, Business Operations and Strategic Planning
Vicki Cauvel has been with The Vanella Group since 2001. Ms. Cauvel brings an extensive background in Business Development from companies such as Air Liquide America Corporation and Kennedy Western University. Her skills in understanding sales dynamics for large enterprise level technology solutions are evident by the results her group consistently delivers for The Vanella Group's customers.
Ms. Cauvel has a BA in Business Economics from San Jose State University with undergraduate studies at Cal Poly State University.
Sheila Baker
VP, Marketing Automation
Sheila Baker joins The Vanella Group, Inc. with over 25 years experience in technology and marketing. She was an early adopter of marketing automation in her roles as VP Marketing at Kace Networks and VA Software, where she saw the benefits of lead nurturing first hand. Since then Sheila has assisted numerous companies in implementing marketing automation and running successful nurturing programs that educate and generate ready-to-engage leads. Over her extensive career, Sheila has had a broad background including all phases of marketing, operations, sales and engineering. Her strong technology background provides the foundation for her expertise in marketing automation and ability to write compelling nurturing messages.
Sheila has a BS from the University at Albany (SUNY) in Computer Science and Economics and an MS in Computer and Information Systems from Northeastern University.
Karmon Walker
Director of Government Accounts & Customer Service
Ms. Walker brings a strong background in developing opportunities in both the State and Federal Government sectors. As a former founder of a successful Women-Owned Business serving the Government account base, she brings fluency in all aspects of Government lead development. Her expertise in identifying opportunities with key influencers and buyers, contract vehicles, buying processes and also uncovering hard to find opportunities result in the highest possible return on campaigns for our clients' Government sales organizations. Her background also includes successful Senior Government Account Management for New Horizons, I-TECH and Skyline Computer where she successfully managed both Government Accounts and large resellers such as Tech Data.
Ms. Walker holds a Business Management Degree from JD College.
Joseph Tosi
Director of Marketing, Design, and Communications
Joseph has worked with The Vanella Group since 2002. With a dual background in design and technology, Joseph is adept at all phases of design and development. At The Vanella Group, he manages the efforts surrounding Branding, Online presence, and Corporate messaging. Joseph brings an extensive background as Multimedia Director at one of Tampa Bay’s busiest development firms, fullCircle Creative. Joseph's most recent work includes catalog design for BIC Graphic USA and Sheaffer Writing Instruments.
Joseph holds a Bachelor of Fine Art in Digital Art and Technology from the International Academy of Design.
Bobby Holland
Technology
Bobby Holland has worked with The Vanella Group for over 4 years as a technical advisor and consultant. His contribution to The Vanella Group allows a greater depth of understanding in many complex areas of software delivery and current industry trends that affect our customers. Mr. Holland has been in data processing for over 23 years. His expertise ranges from computer operations to software engineering and architecture. He has held Senior Management positions for well-known consulting companies such as EDS and AMS, as well as the former telecom giant, MCI. His most recent role is Director of Custom Solutions for a $500M Denver-based billing and CRM company, servicing telecom, cable and ISP companies.
